Laura Smith, owner and executive chef, is a skilled chef of Thai, Japanese, and Indonesian cuisine. She is a proud mother of three and loves spending time with her children. Born and raised in Indonesia, Laura immigrated to the United States in 1991 and eventually found herself on the Grand Strand. Once Indo opened the doors, many locals soon became accustomed to her homemade sauces and delicious dishes of not only Thai and Japanese cuisine, but sushi as well. Laura believes that “food has a way of bringing people together,” and if people are happy, everything else will fall into place.

Kyle Smith, the Manager of Indo Thai in Pawley’s Island, is very dedicated and hard working. He is a local, being born and raised in Georgetown, SC.  He started working for Indo in May of 2010 and fell in love with Indo. Before venturing into the food service industry, Kyle graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English. Customer service has been a big part of his background with over five years of retail management experience under his belt. Kyle’s compassion, dedication, and drive are hard to find. His goal is to strive for excellence and to take Indo to the next level with plans to open future restaurants in various locations.

Lilly Corirossi, Manager of Indo in Myrtle Beach, was born and raised in Indonesia. Lilly immigrated to the United States in 1994 where she began her career path in hospitality. Before moving to Myrtle Beach, she worked in New Jersey for the Original Pancake House as a manager for nine years. Lilly strives for perfection and wishes for everyone walking through the doors of Indo to have an exceptional and delightful experience. Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and friendly attitude have helped not only herself, but Indo as well, succeed.
